Julie Celena's Story
Life
Being an Air Force Brat all my life- living in Colorado, Okinawa, Wyoming, Japan, among other places, I went to Chofu High School (Freshman year) in Japan. Then I attended Radford High in Hawaii 1967-69. (Sopomore-Junior years). We then went to Carbondale, Illinois. I graduated from Carbondale High in 1970.Then attended SIU for awhile. Later moved to the Oakland area, Northern California. Worked as a Travel Agent for over 18 years and traveled a lot. I've been married since 1977, and we are now located a bit north of San Diego. own acreage on which we grow citrus and avocado. We have two beautiful children, a girl and a boy, of whom I am very proud.
An update to my story. Our son is married now and lives and works in San Diego. Our daughter and her husband have two beautiful daughters who live nearby. I keep busy with volunteer work and now help watch our granddaughters. We love southern California!
